1. Start-of-day workflow
   Created and revised the one-page VDP2026 Start-of-Day Workflow document in 12-point type. It gives a repeatable sequence for reviewing Command Center files, checking the nightly backup, selecting one bounded outcome, recording changes, and leaving a clear next action.

2. Dashboard backup status
   Added BackupStatusService.vb to the Dashboard and wired AF_TOOLS_MAIN_FORM startup refresh to ToolStripLabel1. The display reads the Scheduled Task named "VDP2026 Daily Backup to BASEMENTONE" and reports its recent status, including success, failure, or unavailable information. The on-screen label appeared, and the GUI checks reported two passing tests.

3. HL7 source-code discovery
   Located the VB.NET project VDP2017_07_09 in Google Drive. Class1_HL7Result.vb contains CreateResultHL7, which assembles HL7-style MSH, PID, ORC, OBR, OBX and related segments. mod20170709.vb calls the builder; Class1_MSH.vb defines segment objects. The earlier VDP2017_03_29 Form1.vb does not contain the creator. The builder's FILE output call is commented out, so creation of a physical .hl7 file was not established.

4. VDP design exploration
   Sketched a possible VDP Issue Packet utility: a versioned packet model, validation, serializers for Markdown and JSON, and an audit trail. Identified the Strategy Workbench export path as the likely first integration point. This was design exploration; no VDP packet utility was implemented today.

NEXT ACTIONS / OPEN ITEMS

- Decide the minimal IssuePacket fields and which content is voter input versus proxy-generated analysis.
- Prototype JSON validation and Markdown rendering against an existing issue packet.
- Check backup file readability separately; a successful Scheduled Task result alone does not establish restore readiness.
- Review and remove any temporary GUI sanity test after preserving the useful backup-status test.
- Moving this chat into a ChatGPT project was requested but not completed in this session.

 First an image of new code and the HTML as it is presented: Since the last entry I've been looking for a way to take data and write it out to the MySQL DB. I created a page Threeindex.html. I have added to buttons and to the menu/nav bar at the top. Only the NavBar at the top gets to the page. I've got the page to work with 2 different platforrms. Tried following the video from UDEMY, but it turns out the Radiobutton and Selectfield methods are deprecated or obsolete in some fashion. Something about FlaskForm/wtforms that is a problem. That took a while to settle that was the issue. I did manage to add error trapping. The "Learn more" buttons for Threeindex demonstrate that feature My continuing to connect what is typed into the HTML in Threeindex to the MySQL. The page Twoindex.html accessed through Flask_app.py code adds the same record - but there is no interaction

Successful connection to MySQL from HTML

Coding paused due and restored

 A couple of weeks ago I started getting an "Internal Server Error" when I attempted to post a question.  The error log - https://www.pythonanywhere.com/user/BenConnolly/files/var/log/benconnolly.pythonanywhere.com.error.log  reported the following: 2023-04-09 12:11:19,223: error_code=None error_message='You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details.' error_param=None error_type=insufficient_quota message='OpenAI API error received' stream_error=False I debated with myself if I should sign up for the API Key subscription. Over the weekend the CBS show called 60 Minutes dedicated 2 segment on Artificial Intellience.  This was an inspiration -  I signed up for a pay as you go plan yesterday.
